John Paul Rader, passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2018. He was born in Dekalb, Illinois on December 15, 1956, son of the late William Rader and Henrietta Storer. John attended Lakeland High School. John kept himself busy, mainly driving trucks in his working days. John enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his beloved dogs. He was known as an animal lover and a great joke teller. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Linda Rader; children, Michelle (Chad) Hogle, Cheresa Navarrete, Eric (Angie) Rader, and Claudia Rader; 11 grandchildren; sister, Laura Rader; and brother, Thomas Rader. He was preceded in death by his brother Roger Rader. Memorial service will be held at 3pm on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805, Visitation will be held 2 hours prior. Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA.
