Jerry graduated from Northrop High School class of 1975 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was known as the school jokester, and brought laughter to many! He also participated in sports. Upon his graduation, he attended Ivy Tech Community College. He was employed by Local 213 Laborers Union for over 15 years. He was also employed at Dove Tree Nursing Home (founded by his parents). His zest for business lead him to be self-employed for Fourgift-Menot, Treasure Hunt, Zeek, Norris Advanced Networking and TLC. Additionally, he volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club of Fort Wayne, Allen County. Jerry had a great love for family; friends'; traveling; music (all genres); song and poem writing: showcasing his vast drawing abilities; singing; food and cooking (Pot Roast and Hobo Chili); watching and attending (any Indiana team) sport; talking; trivia; playing cards; watching movies; giving advice, and telling his funny stories!! In addition to his deceased parents, Jerry is survived by his Ex-wife, Pat Hunt; survived by his children; Abron (Shanee) Martin of Fort Collins, Co, Candice Davis-Hunt, Diona Davis-Hunt, Jerald (Tasha) Hunt, Janie "Shatera" Hunt, and Precious Burnett all of Fort Wayne, IN; survived by his siblings; Daniel (Cho) Hunt of Toledo, OH, Sheila (Andre') Cuffy and Krista "Vickie" (Brian) Andrews both of Leo, IN, Kevin (Stacy) Hunt of Dallas, TX, Yvonne Hunt of Fort Wayne, IN, Michael Hunt, Amethyst Hunt of Indianapolis, IN, Detrick (Hinako) Hunt of Okinawa City, Japan, Doresa Hunt of St. Louis, MO, Cory Hunt, Richard (Katie) Dallape, Krystal Hunt, Darrin Hunt, Kasey Hunt, Herbert "Dillon" Hunt, and Breon Hunt, all of Fort Wayne, IN. In addition, Jerry has 11 grandchildren, Carlos, Jordan & Justin (twins), Jordan, Benjerman, Kylin, Christian, Maliyah, Honesty, Abron Jr, and Yaseara; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. God took him away from life for a greater purpose to complete his life story. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.
