Jerald Allen Reed

Jerald Allen Reed was 71 years of age when he passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was a son of the late Clair and Marjorie (nee. Neville) Reed born July 3, 1950 in Fort Wayne, Indiana but had lived a number of years in Coldwater, Michigan. He was a 1968 graduate of Leo JR/SR High School. At age 16, he began driving semi-trucks and was currently employed by JAT Trucking of Fort Wayne. He loved his family, grand and great-grandchildren, being on the lake, fishing, and boating. Jerry was a member of Life Changing Church in Angola and a member of the Sons of American Legion Post #409 Leo, Indiana. He leaves precious memories to his wife, Rebecca Lynn Reed; children, Mindy Hood and Jeremy (Jen) Hood; brothers, Tom (Vicki) and Gene (Jane) Reed; 8 grandchildren, Damon (Mara) Hood, Christopher (Samantha) Cooke, Mikayla (Caleb) Hill and Taylor (Adam) Parsons; 5 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral Service is 11:00 AM Monday, November 15, 2021 at D. O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home 1320 E. Dupont Rd. (46825) with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Visitation also Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021 at the funeral home 2-4pm and 6-8pm.
