Jeffrey "Jeff" Scott Miller

Jeffrey “Jeff” Scott Miller, age 56, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. He was born June 23, 1968 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Dr. Richard and Pamela (Bartik) Miller. Jeff graduated from Homestead High School, Class of ’86, where he discovered his love for football, playing as a linebacker for the Spartans. He spent his career in construction and ironworking as a steel erector for over twenty years with Zumbrun Construction. He had a boisterous, fun-loving and larger than life personality but lived a simple life, and enjoyed playing golf, watching auto racing and NFL Football, especially NASCAR, Indycar and his beloved Miami Dolphins, camping with friends at “The Ranch”, collecting knives, listening to classic rock and his mama’s chili. Jeff is survived by his parents, Dr. Richard and Pamela "Wilma" Miller; brothers, Richard R. (Amy) Miller, and Christopher Miller; niece, Alexia "Lulubell" (Nick) Norris; and great nephew and nieces, Elias, Rhea, and Karsyn. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard & Mary (Calbeck) Miller, and James and Annabell (Treml) Bartik. Celebration of Life is 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Sycamore Hills Golf Club, 11836 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. Friends and family will also be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes – Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne.
