Jean L. Loney

Jean L. Loney, 80, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Heritage Park. Born on May 3, 1935 in Goshen, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Madge (Weaver) Coggan. Jean graduated from Goshen High School, Class of 1953, and worked as a dental assistant for over 10yrs and as a market researcher with Advantage Research Services. She was also a member of Goshen EUB. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard H. Loney of Fort Wayne; son, Michael H. (Rebecca) Loney of Granite Falls, Wash.; daughter, Betsy S. Rhodes; foster daughter, Janet (Don) Nichols of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Emma and Duncan Loney, both of Granite Falls, Wash., and S. Alex Rhodes of Fort Bragg, N.C.; three foster grandchildren, Richard Nichols of Fort Campbell, KY., and Jennifer (Eli) Vasquez and Paul Zuercher, both of Fort Wayne; and three foster great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Stephen A. Loney; brother, Albert Coggan; and sister, Carol Kielce. A private graveside service will be held by the family at a later date.
