JASON JEROME GREEN, 45, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, Sept. 24, 2021. Jason was a charming, adventurous, creative, humorous, intelligent, loving, giving, and compassionate soul. He was a graduate of Indiana University where he earned an Associate's degree. He later pursued studies in horticulture. His first true love was music, known locally as "D.J. Dap". It was during this time that he started writing rap lyrics and poetry. Jason appeared at numerous venues performing his spoken word as seen on YouTube (Jason Green Spoken Word). He and his mother had many passionate discussions about politics, social issues, and community affairs. He would eagerly research any and everything he felt was debatable. The empathy he had for others was admirable. There were so many things he would say such as "Mom, I have a friend that has nowhere to go for holiday dinner, can they come here?" or "I have a friend in need, can we help?" His mother would reply, "Yes, baby." He would then show the grandest smile and give the greatest hug. The greatest love of his mother's life may be gone from this world but his loving spirit will live on in those he has touched. A private service was held earlier this month. "A special thank you to Parkview Regional Medical Center, Parkview Hospice, Faith Based Mentoring Ministries, PRNA Board, special friends, loved ones, and neighbors for their love, respect, and support during the loss of my only child." Judith Marie Green and family.
