Janey Kay (Safford) Byram, 69, passed away December 23, 2022 at Coventry Meadows Nursing Home after a short battle with cancer. She was born August 1, 1953 in Fort Wayne, IN, the daughter of the late Charles William and Gloria Louise Safford.
Janey loved the wildlife and animals of all kinds, especially cats. She spent her golden years outside in her yard with the community cats giving the love that was needed to all that came her way.
She is survived by her siblings, Sandra Lee (Jeffrey) Crider, Kristi Lin (Kirk) Mayer, Karna Lou Espich, William Safford and Karen Villareal. Nieces and nephews, Melissa Safford, Molly and Benjamin Espich, Austin (Ashley), Joshua, Jessica, Charley and Keegan Mayer. As well as two great nieces and four great nephews. Three aunts Donna Jahn, Tommie Hernandez and Manetta Hoffman. Her loving friend Vickie Merriman all of Fort Wayne, IN. She is also survived by her fur baby, Biebers.
