Jane E Nes

JANE E. NES, R.N., A.S.P.A.N, C.N.O.R., 53, of Markle, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital. Born May 20, 1956, in Huntington, daughter of the late Kenneth and Norma (Mills) Snow, she worked as an R.N. at Lutheran Hospital for nine years. She previously worked at Wells County Community Hospital as an R.N., for a total of 33 years. She was a member of A.O.R.N. (Association of Operation Room Nurses). She is survived by her husband, Richard "Rick" Nes of Fort Wayne; two sons, Ben (Rebecca) Ralston of Chicago, Ill. and Clinton Ralston of Markle; step-daughter, Megan (John) Van Sumeren of Fort Wayne; three sisters, Liz Haynes of Fort Wayne, Helen Snow of Huntington and Barbara Bovinet of McHenry, Ill.; one brother, Rob Snow of Huntington; two grandchildren, Nicolas and Izabelle; sister-in-law, Jan Nes of Fort Wayne; brother-in-law, Carl Nes of Atlanta, Ga.; mother-in-law, Myrtle Nes of Fort Wayne; nieces and nephews; and her therapy dog, Thorsen. Service is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Mark Cleveland officiating. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials to Breast Cancer Research.
