Jane Ellen Lewandowski

Jane was a graduate of South Side High School and later Bowling Green University. She spent most of her professional career with North American Van Lines (NAVL). Upon retirement, Jane devoted much of her time in her cherished role as, Mimi (grandmother). Jane was an avid cyclist, artist, and gardener. She enjoyed nature, animals, yoga with her “tribe,” and spending time with family and friends. Above all, Jane was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her daughter, Devon (Damion Wirges) Lewandowski; son, Roman Lewandowski; grandchildren, Malik, Camden, and Zane; sister, Carol (Ron) Hanna; brother, Tom (Carrie) Ladig; and nephew, Chip (Monica) Hanna. Jane is preceded in death by her nephew, Mark Hanna.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior.
