James "Jim" W Ward

James W “Jim” Ward, 73, of Huntertown, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023. Born on January 3, 1950, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late James and Olive (Lynch) Ward, and retired from Lincoln Foodservice, in 2012, after more than 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife of more than 51 years, Teresa (Howey) Ward; son, Steve Ward, of Garrett; grandson, Tyler Ward; granddaughter, Mikayla Ward; great-grandson, Larsyn; and his beloved dachshund, Roscoe. He was also preceded in death by his son, Mike Ward. Arrangements have been entrusted to D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park, funeral home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control.
