JAMES EARL MAHATHY, 53, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at St. Joseph Medical Center. Born Nov. 19, 1962, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late William Mahathy and Earlene (Terry). He was a forktruck driver with Omin Source.
Surviving are his three sisters, Patsy Mahathy, Mary Eddigton and Kathy (Rob) Clark, all of Fort Wayne; two children, Sara Mahathy of Tennessee and Dusten Mahathy of Florida; two and brothers, Randall Moles and Alfred John "Butch" (Debbie) Mahathy, both of Fort Wayne. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Don, William, Tommy, Jerry Wayne, Hollis, and Mitchell.
Funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2016, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
