James Robert Cost

James Robert Cost, 82, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. He was born October 21, 1942 in Zanesville, Ohio, son of the late Joseph M. and Margaret (Ohare) Cost. James worked for International Harvester for nine years prior to working for and retiring from Lincoln National Life Insurance Company after ten years of service. He was a member at St. Therese Catholic Church, where he had been active and enjoyed leading Thursday night rosary. Surviving are his daughters, Melissa Cost of Fort Wayne, Catherine (Tim) Pohlman of Ottoville, Ohio, and Laura (Chad) Reed of Sugarcreek Township, Ohio; and granddaughters, Kaitlyn Reed, Mackenzie Pohlman, Madeline Reed, Kristen Pohlman, Chloe Reed, and Genevieve Reed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn M. (Aulbach) Cost in 2007; and brother, Michael Cost. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with one hour of visitation prior to services at church.
