Jacqueline "Jackie" Tyner, 94, of Yoder, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. She was born on December 20, 1929 in Alamans Co., North Carolina, a daughter of the late Roy and Catherine (Jeffries) Tinnin. Jackie had been a devoted member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church for over 65 years. She also was a part of the worthwhile home economics club and the Rosary Society at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Jackie was a homemaker and avid gardener. She spent countless hours working on the farm side by side with her husband. Jackie is survived by her children, Steve Tyner, Judy (Bob) Papai, Chris (Janet) Tyner, and Lynn (David) Heim; grandchildren, Joe (Amy) Papai, Jason (Jessica) Papai, Dayne (Maggie) Tyner, Patricia Anderson, and Kaela Anderson; and several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in passing by her husband of 66 years, George Tyner; son, Mark Tyner; and daughter, Cheryl Tyner. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church 14623 Bluffton Road Yoder, Indiana 46798 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals 6810 Old Trail Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809, with a rosary service beginning at 7:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Heartland Hospice or Wellbrooke of Wabash.
