Dr. Jack H. Boyd

Dr. Jack H. Boyd, 80, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 5, 2014. He was born in Kokomo, Indiana September 23, 1933 to the late Robert and Marge Boyd. Dr. Boyd was a dentist in the Air Force from 1959-62, after which he ran his own dental practice until retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Indiana State Dental Association, a past president of the Isaac Knapp Dental Society, as well as one of the 8 founders of the Isaac Knapp Dental Education Foundation, where he served as treasurer for 18 years. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, and a 35-year member of the Orchard Ridge Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Esther Boyd; daughter Anne (David) Norris of Zionsville; sons Bradley (Kim) Boyd and Mark (Leanne) Boyd of Ft. Wayne; step-sons Daniel (Judy) Brock of Ft. Wayne and Thomas (Sherry) Brock of Desoto, MO; and 13 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 8, 2014 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 611 W.
