HELEN M. PEASE, 94, of Rome City, Ind., passed away peacefully Sunday, March 23, 2014, at her home. Born Dec. 22, 1919, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late John and Della Monnier. She was a homemaker. She is survived by a son, Joseph Max (Joyce) Pease Sr.; sister, Dorothy Monnier; grandson, Joseph Max (Lisa) Pease Jr.; granddaughter, Christina (Dewayne) Owsley; granddaughter-in-law, Kim Pease; great-grandchildren, Katie, David, Hunter, Sarah, Jake, Bethany, and Cassidy; great-great-grandchildren, Jasper and Honour; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Pease; brother, Robert Monnier; sister, Ruthie Nern; and grandson, Brad Pease. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
