Helen I. Hearn, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Lutheran Hospital. She was born April 10, 1925 in Fort Wayne. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Panorama Women's Club, where she was voted Women of the Year and Rachel Circle. Surviving are her daughter, Sandra K. (Phil) Swihart, of Fort Wayne; son, Kevin D. Hearn, of Kendallville; two grandchildren, Timothy Swihart, of Fort Wayne and Bradley Swihart, of Memphis, TN; three great grandchildren, Devin, Kale and Leah Swihart, all of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren R. Hearn, in 1996 and sister, Lillian Wilson. Funeral Service is 10:00 am Saturday January 21, 2012 at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Rd Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd. Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
