Harold Lee Robinson, age 82, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Harold was native of Burnsville, North Carolina. Born to the late John Lawrence and Ethel (nee. Brinkley) Robinson.
He came to Fort Wayne after high school. He met and later married Gloria Gene Stovall. Harold was a Union Ironworker of Local #147. Many years he served as an usher at the War Memorial Coliseum and longtime trustee at Faith United Methodist Church. Harold was a charitable neighbor in all ways of helping others. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, going to church, grandchildren events and was a fan of UNC Basketball. He had a sense of humor that will be greatly missed.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kermit Robinson and sister, Libby Wittkopf.
Harold leaves to cherish many memories and continue his legacy to his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Gloria; children, Rayburn (Beth) Robinson, Claudia (Mike) Kuhn and John (Carrie) Robinson; a brother, Charles Robinson; 12 grandchildren, Katie Robinson, Alec Kuhn, Austin Kuhn, Jacob Kuhn, Joshua Kuhn, Nick Robinson, Lauren Robinson, Emily Robinson, Maxwell Robinson, Kersten Robinson, Johnna Robinson and Gideon Robinson; two great-grandchildren, Chloe Robinson and Izzy Robinson; other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services are 2:00PM Thursday, December 21, 2023 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park 4017 Maplecrest Road (46815) with visitation one hour prior.
Preferred Memorials are to Eleos Hospice Care.
