Harold E. Bennett

Harold Edward Bennett, 72, of Roanoke passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021. He was born on December 26, 1948 in Harlan, Kentucky. Harold was a son of the late Frank and Emma (Shipman) Bennett. He was a dedicated member of the Chapel of Praise Church for several years. He enjoyed going 4-wheeling, fishing, visiting auctions, and most of all spending time with his family. You would find him tinker around or in the kitchen cooking up something good. Harold is survived by his wife, Glenda Bennett; children, Wanda (Bryan) Neal, Kenneth Bennett, Harold W. (Carrie) Bennett, and James Bennett; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Also preceding him in passing was his daughter in-law, Angie Bennett. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the Chapel of Praise Church 626 Spillson Avenue Fort Wayne, Indiana 46803 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 4-8pm on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Church. Memorial contributions can be made to the family c/o Glenda Bennett.
