GLENN EDWARD WYSONG SR., 68, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, 8:55 a.m., in Fort Wayne. Born Sunday, July 25, 1948, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Marlene (Roy) and Clyde "Nob" Wysong. He worked in assembly and was a foreman at Dana Corporation for 35+ years. He was a member of St. Jude Hospital; American Legion Post 82; and Army/Navy Garrison 57. He was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church; an avid NASCAR, Greenbay Packers, IU basketball and Yankees fan; was a local race car driver; and loved playing cards.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly (Goodpaster) Wysong of Fort Wayne; sons, Gary L. Wysong and Glenn E. Wysong Jr.; stepdaughter, Monica Jo Bunting Amburgey (Brad); stepson, Joseph (Melissa) Bunting II; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Dave Wysong, in 2014; grandson, Day Joseph Wysong; brother, Larry Wysong; and nephew, Joey Wysong.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Donald Sandmann officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial in Huntertown Cemetery.
