Gerald "Jerry" Brown, 81, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021. Born February 11, 1940 in Dobbs Ferry, New York. He was a son of the late John E. and Virginia E. (Hill) Brown.
He graduated in 1958 from Laurel Hill Academy in Susquehanna, PA. Jerry served 24 years in the USAF, retiring in 1984 and served four years in the Marine Reserves. He also retired from ITT where he served as Field Service Manager.
Jerry was a sports fan. He enjoyed playing softball on the Turner's Senior League, and was an avid Nascar fan.
Jerry had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved animals, especially his dogs and cats. Jerry enjoyed a good chocolate chip cookie, peanut M&M's and traveling in their RV.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda; son Scott (Annette); daughter, Danielle (Christopher) Hager; six grandchildren and one great-grandson; and six siblings.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.
