

Georgette C. (Boucher) Roth, age 72, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015, in Ft. Wayne. Georgette was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada on September 2, 1942, the daughter of the late Robert and Annie (Beaulieu) Boucher. She was proud of her U.S. citizenship which she obtained in 1991.
Georgette had worked at Lincoln Life Insurance. She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her children and being involved in their activities. She loved to go dancing, was a 26 year breast cancer survivor and was a volunteer at Lutheran Hospital. She was a member of the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Surviving are her husband Phil, daughter Denise (Silvano) Casanova, sons Charles (Rhonda) Scher and Eric (Kelly) Scher; daughter-in-law Cathy Scher, 8 grandchildren and siblings, Rachel Levasseur, Georges Boucher and Jacqueline Levasque. She was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Scher Jr., and Christopher Scher, a step-son, Eric Roth and two brothers, Rival and Jacques Boucher.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 am Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold Street. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Monday, April 20, 2015, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 420 W. Wayne Street. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.
