George Arthur Marquart, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 345p.m. at Coventry Meadows. Born March 31, 1951 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was the son of the late Warren G. Marquart and Ruth E. Barnett. He was a construction carpenter working in the housing market. He was a member of the Valley 8 Ball Pool Leagues and past member of Southwest Conservation Club.
Survivors include: daughter, Marie (Allen) Patton; brothers, Marcus (Donna) Marquart, of Fort Wayne and Tim (Mary Kay) Marquart of Green Bay Wisconsin; sisters, Marietta (Richard) Fuess of Austin, Texas, Beth (Michael) Bergoff of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Jenny (Guy) Rickard of Brooklyn Michigan; Grandchildren, Alexis, Seth, Dylan, Lilly and Asher all of Buena Vista, California.
Memorial Service is 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home on Winchester Road. Visitation is from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Reverend Michael Smith will be officiating. Preferred Memorials: Allen County Animal Care & Control or Cancer Services of N.E. Indiana.
