Gene Weldon Jones, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born June 8, 1930 in Fort Wayne, he served in the US Army for two years as a Unit Supply Specialist. He retired after 40 years as a truck driver with Holland Motor Express. Surviving are his wife, Joan (Kenworthy) Jones of Fort Wayne; his daughter, Charlotte Balderas of Fort Wayne; his son, Marc T. Jones of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren; and his sister, Anita Radabaugh of Bellflower, CA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha (Jones) Jones. Funeral Service will be at 10:00am on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road., Fort Wayne. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
