Gail Annette Baker

GAIL ANNETTE BAKER, 83, passed away Monday, May 15, 2023, at Park Place Senior Living Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she worked as a supervisor at Foamex for over 30 years, retiring in 2004. She was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed her grandchildren/great-grandchildren, fishing, living at Fish Lake and any IU sporting events. Surviving are her daughter, Terri (Ron) Roberts of Huntertown; grandchildren Sarah (Sean) Hoos of Fort Wayne, Mike (Lauren) Roberts of Fishers and Jon (Nicole) Roberts of Huntertown. Ten great-grandchildren; Canaan, Colin and Carryn Roberts, Megan, Jacob and Maple Haubold, Eleanor and Jonathan Roberts; and brother Gordon Emrick of Waynedale along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Baker; parents, Glenn and Florence Emrick; sisters Sharon Carroll, Phyllis Lavelle, and Barbara Hoffman. Funeral service is Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN with calling two hours prior to service.
