Frederick Leland Wittekind, age 94, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. Frederick was born in Elmhurst, IL to the late Fred L. and Mary C. Wittekind.
For many years he worked as a Real Estate Broker and later enjoyed working at Lowe's.
Fred was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki O'Hara and brother, John Wittekind.
He will always be remembered for his love of family.
Fond memories will remain with his sons, Fred, Michael and Mark Wittekind; daughters, Kathryn Moore and Karen Dopkowski.
A service of love and remembrance will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls; 8325 Covington Road, (46804) with visitation from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Memories may be shared at www.domccombandsons.com for the family.
