Frederick G. Ingram, 76, passed away on December 4, 2017. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN on May 15, 1941, the son of the late Charles and Jennie Ingram. Fred served in the US Navy as a E5 Second Class Radar Man until 1968. He retired from B.F. Goodrich in 2003. Fred was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. In his spare time he enjoyed building and working on computers, electronics, and radios. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Helen Ingram; children, Terri (Edward) Brooks, Ina (Michael) Scott, Yvonne Myers; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers Larry (Peggy) Ingram and Carlos (Darlene) Ingram; brother-in-law, Donald (Marilyn) Conrad. He preceded in death by brothers, Charles Ingram Jr., and Kenneth Ingram,; and sisters, Melba Kelley, and Sharon Conrad. Funeral service will take place Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2pm with calling 1 hour prior at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Visitation will also take place at the funeral home on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Lutheran Church or Safe Haven for Veterans. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
