Fred S. Dray Jr.

Fred S. Dray Jr., 88, of Fort Wayne, died on April 20, 2016. Born on April 16, 1928, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Fred and Sarah (Fisher) Dray Sr. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jean Dray; children, Larry (Lynn) Dray, Nancy (Paul) Gerding and Diane (Daniel) Hofer; sisters, Vivian Vaughn, Shirley Minser and Jacqueline Dray; grandchildren, Brandon (Autumn) Ball, Jennifer (Patrick) Kuhlman, Elizabeth (Bryan) McGovern, Erin Ball, Benjamin (Rebecca) Hofer, Emily (John) Koval, Jonathan (Angela) Hofer and Laura (Charles) Summers; great-grandchildren, Kevin, Micky, Oliver, Rachel, William, Katelyn, Aidan, Jacob, Luke, Declan, Connor, Lilly, Finnegan, and a great-grandson on the way. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Virgil, Chester, Phillip, Paul, Kenneth and Eugene; sisters, Virginia, Delores, Irene and Barbara; and son-in-law, Daniel Hofer.

Funeral service will be 11am, Monday, April 25, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 202 West Rudisill Blvd, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. Services have been entrusted to Advantage Funeral and Cremation Service, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne.
