Fred Dobler, 78, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025. Fred was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on August 1, 1946, a son of the late Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Bulmahn) Dobler. He was a graduate of South Side High School class of 1964 and he served in the United States Air National Guard,122nd Tactical Fighter Wing. Fred was an inside salesman at CTD for several years. He was on the senior men's golf association league for over 20 years. When he was not on the greens he enjoyed taking his motorcycle for a ride, trains, and watching sports. Fred is survived by his son, Andy (Randi Honstead) Dobler; grandchildren, Billy and Henry Dobler; and sister, Louise (Steve) Swihart.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Klaehn, Fahl, & Melton Funeral home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation one hour prior. Burial to follow the service at Lindenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Fred's memory may be made to Humane Fort Wayne.
