Franklin Oliver Johnson III

Franklin Oliver Johnson III, 99, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022. Franklin was born January 3, 1923 in San Diego, California, son to the late Franklin O. and Mildred (Asquith) Johnson, II. Franklin was a U. S. Army Air Corp veteran and had worked as a buyer at Magnavox. Surviving are his children, John Johnson of San Jose, CA and Jennifer Barnes of Delaware, OH; and granddaughter, Caylin Barnes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife, Catherine F. (Zimmerman) Johnson in 2021 and a brother, Thomas Johnson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne. IN 46819 with one hour of visitation prior. Inurnment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Contributions in Franklin's memory may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church.
