ELIZABETH ANN (TAYLOR) HAMILTON, 73, passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, after a valiant fight against lung cancer. Born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Keith and Loretta Taylor. Ann volunteered at various non-profit organizations in Fort Wayne, including the St. Mary's Soup Kitchen, the Center for Non-Violence, and St. Patrick's Closet. She is survived by her sister Margaret (Peggy) Didrick, her brother James (Jim) Taylor, and her sister Nora (Noni) Price. Also surviving are her children: Robert Fortman (Marie) of Moncton, New Brunswick; Laurie Fortman of Fort Wayne; Heather Miller Blevins of Greenville, Tennessee; Jamie Drake (Amber) of Fort Wayne; and Beth Hamiton (Adam) Dodge of Seattle. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Robert, Jr., Catherine, Jessica, and Aaron Fortman; and Lucas, Sofia, Leila, and Samuel Drake. The family will have a private memorial service.
