Libby was born in Lake City, TN and moved to Fort Wayne, IN at the age of 17 where she worked and retired from Raytheon. Libby was very proud of her work at Raytheon and would fondly share stories of those days. After retiring she worked part time at Wal-Mart and was also a Pastor and she not only preached the word of God, she lived it.
Libby loved people and was always ready to help in any way she could and was a Caregiver to many over the years. She loved children and was always giving them toys, candy and cookies.
Libby was active and enjoyed life every day. She especially enjoyed gardening and taking care of her home. She loved the outdoors, fishing and golfing and outdoor sports. She was a great cook and loved eating. Fried potatoes, chili and goulash were a favorite. She loved tomatoes and ate them almost daily.
As a friend said when she heard the news of Libby’s passing “Ahhh,, she can be Libby now, no wondering what her house looks like, her speech is great, no pain or paralysis, her heart is free and she is so happy”
Libby will be dearly missed by her family, friends, neighbors and everyone that knew her.
She is survived by her sister Evelina Davis of Clinton, TN
