Edward E. Wineke, 70, passed away Sunday, December 15th, 2024, in Leo, Indiana. Born in Fort Wayne, he started at National Tube Form in 1972 as a general machine operator. He became head engineer and by 1990 was the engineer manager. He eventually retired as a partner in 2010.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, photography, music, movies, and cooking. He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church.
Surviving are his daughter, Candice (Luis) Calderon of Grabill, Indiana; son, Jason Wineke of Los Angeles, California; and sister, Deborah (Mike) Graves of Columbia City, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father, Oakley Wineke; his wife, Rebecca (Grace) Wineke; and mother, Frances (Urschel) Wineke.
Celebration of Life is 4 PM, Friday, January 10th, 2025 with a reception immediately following at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley Park, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne. Friends and family will be received from 1 - 4 PM at the Funeral Home.
