Edward Alton Bowers

Edward Alton Bowers, 67, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. He was born on October 15, 1954, son of the late Victor and Lucille (Feipel) Bowers. Edward was a graduate of Bishop Luers High School and worked in manufacturing at Wabash Fiber Box, which later became known as International Paper. He enjoyed sports such as golf and watching auto racing, and was a lifetime mega fan of the Fort Wayne Komets. He also enjoyed playing cards, gambling, and traveling. Edward and his wife Karen visited Hawaii 40 times during their travels together. Edward is survived by his loving wife, Karen (Didion) Bowers; and a brother, Mike Bowers. A celebration of life for Edward will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809.
