Douglas Lee Pfaffenbach, 74, passed away peacefully on April 12th 2025. Born in Santa Monica California, he was the son of the late Ralph and Jean Pfaffenbach. Douglas is a US Army veteran. He proudly served his country in the US Army. Douglas loved drag racing and fast cars. He loved watching football and baseball. His favorite teams were the San Francisco 49ers, and the San Francisco Giants. Douglas attended high school at Cordova High School, Rancho Cordova, California, and through the US Army, Presidio, San Francisco, California, and received his diploma in 1967. Later, he attended Indiana Purdue at Fort Wayne. He had worked as a truck driver in California, a security guard, and as a youth care worker at Wood Youth Center of Fort Wayne Indiana. He was also a little league baseball manager. He is survived by his son, Garett Pfaffenbach; his grandchildren; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins; and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his ex-wife, Barbara; his sister Pam; and his beloved Siberian Husky, Max. Doug was a good friend to all that knew him.
