DOROTHY ROE, 66, of Fort Wayne, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, at Parkview Hospital. Born Feb. 11, 1945, in Culleoka, Tenn., she was one of eight children of the late William Stinnett and Lizzy (Norman) Lyons. "She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt that care for everyone and was loved by all." Surviving are her sons, Jackson (Ruth) Roe of Grabil and Jimmie (Tammie) Faust of Harlan; daughters, Rebecca (Adam) Parker of Fort Wayne and Patricia Foster (David Presley) of Spring Hill, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Pipkin and Francis Dalton, both of Fort Wayne; brother, Roy Stinnett of Fort Wayne; numerous nieces, nephews; and special extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorl; son, Nathan; sisters, Mary, Minnie and Ruby; and brother, Wayne. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at Third Street Church of God, 427 Third St., with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Truman Smith officiating.
