Dorothy S. Foster, 88, of Goshen died on December 20, at Greencroft Healthcare, Goshen. A native of Goshen, she was the daughter of the late George and Nellie (nee. Ebersole) Sayles. A member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Goshen, she was also a volunteer for the DAV Women’s Auxiliary, working her way through the ranks to serve as the Florida State Commander. She retired in 1978 after 37 years of service as a supervisor for General Telephone, now Verizon.
She is survived by her children; Sheila (Larry) Cook, Rita Cassel, and William (Sherry) Lankford, and, sister; Joan McGinnis. She was also preceded in death by her husband; Schuyler Foster, and brothers; Harold, Frank, and Robert Sayles.
