Donna Pickering Sievers

Donna Pickering Sievers, 87, passed away Wednesday August 9, 2023 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born September 19, 1935 in Delaware County Ohio, the daughter of Merwin and Pauline Grove. She was an office administrator and dispatcher for Indiana Michigan Power for 28 years and retired in 1990. Donna was a member of St. Joseph United Methodist Church, the Appleseed Quilters Guild and had been a volunteer with the American Red Cross, working with their disaster action team for 10 years. She was an avid quilter, reader, and lover of Jeopardy. She is survived her children, Jeffrey (Nancy) Pickering of Jacksonville, FL; Michelle (Kenneth) Green of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren; Jim Pickering, Jenn (Josh) Koch, Kyle (Ally) Green, Sara Green, Ryan Green, great grandchildren; Andi Koch and Chloe Koch, brother, Dean Grove of Crystal Lake, IL; sister-in-law, Mary Grove of Fort Wayne, IN. Donna was preceded in death by her husband Richard E. Sievers, brother Ron Grove and sister-in-law Martha Grove. Funeral service will be 10 am Wednesday August 16, 2023 at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN., with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 5-8 pm Tuesday August 15, 2023 at the funeral home.
