Donald “Donnie” L. Thornton, 52, passed away Monday Oct. 19, 2015. He worked at DuHadway Construction for many years. Enjoyed Nascar, bowling, hunting and fishing. He always lended a helping hand. He loved and enjoyed his grandkids. He fought Multiple Sclerosis for many years.
He is survived by his wife Cindy; sons Brian Mills, Justin Mills and Shawn Mills; grandkids Blake ,Christian ,Josie, Phoenix; brothers Richard (Pamela) Thornton and Douglas (Kathy) Thornton, Sr.; sisters Shelia (Mike) Treace and Jolinda (Roger) Treace; Mother in-law Maxine Mills; several nieces and nephews and his “Best friend - Kid” dog Sadie.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Sue Zana Thornton and brother James Thornton.
Services will be at 11:00 Monday Oct. 26, 2015 with visitation one hour prior at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home 6424 Winchester Rd. Visitation will also be 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday Oct. 25, 2015.
