Donald Terry Byrd

Donald Terry Byrd, 85, of Palm Harbor, FL, formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on February 19, 2018. He was born on November 12, 1932 in Wilshire, Ohio to the late Homer and Juanita (Moser) Byrd. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Donald is survived by his wife, Alice; sons, Donald G. (Melody) Byrd and Thomas T. (Cindy) Byrd both of St. Petersburg, Florida; daughter, Janice (Dan) Brown of Columbia City, Indiana; step-son, Keith (Paula) Muncie of Fort Wayne; step-daughter, Pamela (Bruce) Bauer of Fort Wayne; brother, Jack H. (Sue) Byrd of Fort Wayne; and sister, Ramona (Richard) Staley of Fort Wayne; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Jim Byrd and daughter, Linda Byrd. Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Klaehn, Fahl, and Melton Funeral Home (6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819) with visitation two hours prior. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park (6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804). Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
