DICK E. LEHMAN, 88, of Fort Wayne, died on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at Renaissance Village. Born Dec. 20, 1924, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Charles Lehman and Elnora (Patten) Lehman. He served in the Navy. He was a general building contractor and owner / operator of C.A. Lehman & Sons, retiring after 45 years in 1992. He was a former member of St. Jude Catholic Church for 47 years; a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church; a member of 100% Club, Navy Club, the Elks, Pine Valley Country Club, Club Olympia, V.F.W. 1006, and American Legion Lincoln Post 92; and past president of Building Contractors Association of Northeast Indiana. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, RoseMary (Roe) Lehman of Fort Wayne; four daughters, Linda Graham of Fort Wayne, Sandra (Stephen) Goodman of Fort Wayne, Kim (Joseph) Casper Burke of San Antonio, Texas, and Laura (Randy) Cronkhite of Fort Wayne; one son, Richard A. "Rick" (Marcelle) Lehman of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Olen Lehman; and one sister, Velma Wilcox. Mass of Christian Burial is 10;30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at St. Jude Catholic Church, with visitation one hour prior. Fr. Thomas Shoemaker officiating.
