Debra A. Thieme, 68, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Parkview Hospital. Debbie was born on February 15, 1955 in Springfield, MA the daughter of the late Gordon M. and Mary J. Stinson. Debbie married her husband of 49 years, Steven R. Thieme of Fort Wayne, IN on July 20, 1974. She grew up in Wells County near Liberty Center and was a 1973 graduate of Southern Wells High School. She received her A.A.S degree from The School of Health Sciences and earned a Certificate in Social Service from Purdue Fort Wayne in 1988. Debbie played the guitar and piano, she also enjoyed watching basketball with her husband and taking walks in the park.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Steven R. Thieme of Fort Wayne, IN; son, Kevin M. Thieme of Fort Wayne, IN; sister, Lisa (Steven) Topper of Xenia, OH; one granddaughter and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Mary Stinson.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, Sept. 15, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services-Mungovan.
