David Lawrence Kapp

David Lawrence Kapp, 67, of Dallas, Texas, died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at his home under hospice care. He was born on January 1, 1949 in Chicago Heights, Illinois. He was the son of Jeanne Reese Kapp and the late Lawrence Francis Kapp. David graduated from North Shore High School on Long Island and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Pratt Institute in New York. He was a financial planner and securities broker for Fidelity Investments for over 20 years. He was an avid football fan and loved the Giants even though his last 25 years were lived in Dallas. David is survived by his mother, two sisters; Clara (Herb) Rothenbush, and Deborah (Jonathan) Kaufman, both of Fort Wayne, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his large circle of friends in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Funeral service will be 2pm, Friday, October 21, at C. M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, with calling from Noon, until time of service. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
