Dave Nuttle

Dave Nuttle, 69, of Ossian passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023. Dave was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on June 1, 1953. He worked for Holsum Bakery for 40+ years. Dave belonged to the Fellowship Baptist Church and the Rolling Classics Car club. He had a passion for cars, from working on them, to car shows, and going cruising. He also enjoyed camping and tinkering around the house. Dave will be remembered for his caring heart and willingness to always help others. He is survived by his wife, Cora Nuttle; son, Cory (Shari) Nuttle; daughter, Melissa (Josh) White and step-son Jeff (Layla) Baney and 7 grandchildren; step-sons Greg (Shelley) and Randy (Pam) Christopher; step-daughters, Michelle Sanchez and Aimee Christopher; 12 step-grandchildren; 20 step-great-grandchildren; father, John (Sue) Nuttle; three brothers; and one sister. Dave was preceded in passing by his previous wife, Janice Nuttle, his mother, Carol (Creech) Nuttle, step-great-granddaughter, Airelyn. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 17, 2023 Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for funerals 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 2:00 pm- 4:00pm and 5:00pm-7:00pm at the funeral home. Contributions in Dave's memory may be made to Promedica Hospice.
