Darlene “Sue” Bunch, 62, of Fort Wayne passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017. She was born on July 1, 1954 in Monticello, Indiana, a daughter of the late Thomas Eugene and Evelyn (Lawson) Hines. She worked as a hostess at Bandido Waynedale; drove school bus for six years for FWCS, was owner of Waynedale Hair Salon, and most recently was cutting hair at Brookdale Assisted Living. She was a member of American Legion 241. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, working outside, and spending time with her family. Surviving family include her son, Matthew Hines; daughter, Megan Bunch; step-son, Matthew Bunch; their father, Steven Bunch; grandchildren, Morgan, Mason, Ayden, Brennan, and Jaxton; and brothers, Gary and Tim Hines. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her brother, Ronald Hines. Funeral service will be 3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Memorials may be made to the family.
