Dallas L. Weibel Jr., passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, at the Danville Regional Rehabilitation Center. Born Feb. 4, 1925 in Fort Wayne, Ind., Dallas was a son of the late Dallas and Adel (Leamley) Weibel Sr. He lived most of his life in Fort Wayne, but lived in Danville, Ind. the past five years, and prior to Danville the Cataract Lake area. He was a facility engineer for International Harvester for 22 years. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a charter member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, Ind. Survivors include his wife, Alice (Wade) Weibel of Danville, Ind.; sons, Barry (Janyce) Weibel of New Haven, Terry (Dana) Weibel and Todd (Kathy) Weibel, both of Fort Wayne; daughters Pat (Bruce) Cook, Bonnie Weibel, both of Fott Wayne, and Linda (Ralph) Storms-Landwerlin of Plainfield, Ind.; three sisters, Jackie, Arlene and Deloris; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Dallas was also preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Weibel, on Oct. 5, 1999; one sister, Louise, and two brothers, Lawrence and Charles. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd., Fort Wayne, Ind., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, at the funeral home. Entombment at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
