Corinne Marilynn Welklin - Snyder, age 88, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. She was born September 12, 1935 in Gary, Ind. to the late Milton and Eleanor (née Miller) Kenney. Corinne graduated from Bowling Green High School, Class of '53 and matriculated from Western Kentucky University in and University of Louisville Medical School in 1957; she would spend twenty-five years as a Medical Technician with St. Joe Hospital prior to her retirement in 1995.
Corinne was actively involved in service to the community, volunteering with the Cancer Registry at Parkview North, Allen County Election Board, Embassy Theater,The History Center and a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
She is survived by her children, Mike (Peg) Sidebottom, Mark (Jill) Sidebottom, Sheila (Tim) Claxton, and Melissa Vershaw; step-children, Daniel (Laura) Welklin, Sharon (Greg) Richardson, and David Welklin; eighteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; and brother, Keith (Mary Ann) Kenney. She was preceded in death by husbands, Ralph Snyder, Robert J. Welklin and Keith Sidebottom.
Funeral Service is 1:30 pm, Saturday, November 11, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815 with calling two hours prior. Interment at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
