CLIFFORD E. SHELLENBARGER, 79, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 at Lutheran Hospital. He was born July 18, 1933 in Hudson, Mich. the son of Francis and Jennie (Raines) Shellenbarger. He retired from John Mansville in Defiance, Ohio after 35 years and more recently, was employed by the American Red Cross in the Maintenance Department for 18 years. A Navy Veteran, he was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Continental, Ohio and attended Bethel United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne. He is survivied by his wife, Marcia A.; four daughters, Donna (George) Elliot of Oakwood, Ohio, Cindy (John) Zachrich of Ayersville, Ohio; Michelle (Scott) Jones of Columbia City, Ind., and Stacie Shellenbarger of Archbold, Ohio; son, Robert (Linda) Shellenbarger of Continental, Ohio; stepdaughter, Cindy Price and her partner Michelle Stump of Fort Wayne; stepsons, Jerry and James Baker both of Fort Wayne; son-in-law, Al Manguia of Tenn.; 18 grandchildren; 7 stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren; seven brothers; and five sisters. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Dawn Manguia; one stepson, Michael Baker. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 at C. M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St. Rev. Steve Bahrt officiating. Visitation is 11 a.m. Thursday until time of service. Burial will be at a later date in East Monroe Cemetery, Continental, Ohio. Preferred memorials to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or to the Family.
