Claude Carter

Claude was preceded in death by brothers, Daniel (Jimbo) Johnson, Kevin Carter, Alvin Carter, all of Selma, Alabama; sisters, Greatha Parks, Elizabeth Rothschild, both of Selma, Alabama, Irene "BB" Jackson of Fort Wayne; and two nephews, Jericho and Eric Jackson of Fort Wayne. He is survived by his daughter, Claudette (Fredrick) Carter; and son, Darron Carter; sisters, Gwendolyn (Daniel) Jackson of Selma, Alabama, Sheila Marie (Bobby) Jackson,Thomasene (Johnny) Sanders of Mobile, Alabama; brother, Michael (Theresa) Hobdy; grandchildren, Kaleigh and Cadarious Williams of Fort Wayne, and Makayla Brown, Taurean and Jarell Carter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service to honor Claude's memory will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, with a visitation one hour prior. He will be laid to rest at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
