Christopher Lynn Daugherty

Christopher Lynn Daugherty, age 51, of Fort Wayne, was called home unexpectedly to heaven as an angel. He passed away Friday March 25, 2022. Born July 6. 1970, son of John Lynn and the late Deborahjo (Lopshire) Daugherty. Christopher was a loving father to five sons and a loving "Paw-Paw" to 11 grandchildren. His passions were the outdoors, hunting, fishing, sports, chess, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his father , John L. Daugherty; his beloved wife, Julie (Notestine) Daugherty; four sons, Christopher (Taylor) Daugherty, Bryon (Autumn) Daugherty, Jesse L. Daugherty, and Kyle (Alicia) Gray; two brothers, Jamie (Danielle) Daugherty, and Kerry (Lisa) Daugherty; two nephews, Dakota, and AJ Daugherty; his aunt, Sheryl Daugherty; and 11 grandchildren, Christopher, Jaylee, Connor, Paisley, Summer, Jaxon, Bryson, Blake, Lucas, Talia, and Natalie. He is proceeded in death by his mother, Deborahjo Daugherty and his son Jason Bo Compton. A celebration of Christopher's life will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
