Chelsa Aileen DeMarchis, 38, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday March 10, 2014, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. It was the simple things in life that Chelsa Aileen DeMarchis, 38, of Fort Wayne, Indiana never took for granted, commenting daily how fortunate and thankful she was. She was a mother who always involved herself in every detail of her young sons' lives and supported, respected and loved her husband, Dan, unconditionally. She was a woman of faith, believing in the power of God's love and the peaceful beauty that would await her after her passing. Chelsa joined the angels on Monday March 10, 2014. She was born in Trenton, Michigan and met the love of her life and husband, Dan DeMarchis, while attending college at Western Michigan University. Chelsa filled her days working at Matilda Jane Clothing chatting on the phone with Trunk Keepers and keeping the office in tip top shape. She filled her evenings playing on the floor and reading books with her 2 young boys, Michael (6) and Andrew (4).

She is survived by her husband, Dan DeMarchis; sons, Michael and Andrew; mother, Mary (Lance) Hellar; sisters, Mary (Doug) Hooker, Deirdre (Derek) Krul, Schaneon (Brian) Mahon, step-brother, William “Bill” (Diane) Hellar; father & mother-in-law, Michael & Linda DeMarchis; Brother-in-law, David (Denise) DeMarchis.

Funeral service will be 7 PM Thursday, March 13, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 11 to 1 and 5 to 7 PM, prior to service.
